Country Hall of Famers to make Jackson Hole debut this July at The Cowboy

JACKSON, Wyo. – With more than forty-one-million records sold, five GRAMMYs, four Country Music Association awards, four Academy of Country Music awards, two American Music Awards and 17 No. 1 hits, The Oak Ridge Boys are arguably the most accomplished group ever to headline a show at The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar!

The Oak Ridge Boys will play at The Cowboy on July 13 at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m. Tickets, priced at $40 for General Admission, $100 for Cowboy VIP Lounge and $125 for Cowboy VIP Premier, will be available at The Cowboy Bar or online at today, Friday, June 19th starting at 10 a.m. (MT). Limited seating is available and this will be a sit-down-only show.

While acts such as Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Glen Campbell performed at The Cowboy years before their induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, The Oaks will be the first to play the historic venue already as members of the CMHoF!

Since Duane Allen, Joe Bonsall, William Lee Golden and Richard Sterban first came together in 1973, they have charted 37 songs, joined the Grand Ole Opry, performed for seven U.S. Presidents and raised millions of dollars for charity.

A number of their hits, including the crossover smash “Elvira,” “American Made” and “Y’all Come Back Saloon,” have comprised the soundtrack of America. Drawing from their gospel tradition, The Oaks’ music is strongly characterized by their distinctive four-part harmonies.

Beyond country music, this powerful vocal presence has helped them win 12 gospel Dove Awards as well as earning induction into The Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

Prior to this unprecedented year, The Oaks have regularly performed more than 150 shows annually. This Jackson Hole show will mark their area debut, but also their first public appearance since the worldwide shutdown in March.

“We can’t wait to sing for the good folks in Jackson Hole,” said Richard Sterban. “In our 47 years of touring together, it’s very hard to find a place where we haven’t appeared before. We’ve heard about The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar for years, and while we haven’t played many clubs in recent decades, we’re looking forward to stepping on that historic stage. Finally getting back on the road after this long layoff is going to make the night even more special.”

Following the Wyoming State Health Order and with guidance from the Jackson Hole Health Department, this special concert will be a sit-down show with very limited seating, creating what talent buyer, Justin Smith, calls “an unprecedented opportunity to witness a ‘listening show’ from these legends in this legendary venue.”
