JACKSON HOLE, WYO – A transient man crashed into Hole Bowl early this morning and made off with an undetermined amount of booze before police apprehended him hours later.

A witness observed Christopher Rensink, 56, drive his white, Ford Excursion straight into the front doors of Hole Bowl in the Powderhorn Mall at about 2:45am Monday. The same witness watched as Rensink allegedly got out of his vehicle, walked into the establishment and left a few moments later with something in his arms reported to be bottles of liquor. Rensink then drove off.
When police caught up with Rensink he was uncooperative and visibly drunk. He was arrested for DUI, Interference with a Peace Officer, Destruction of Property, and Burglary. Jackson Police Department Sgt. Michelle Weber added that Rensink also had a suspended drivers license.
Damage to Hole Bowl was estimated to be in excess of $30,000. The business was closed today for repairs.
