WYOMING – Wyoming Highway Patrol is reporting a deceased individual was found in Laramie County on August 9.

Highway Patrol was dispatched to the Warren Truck Parking area near milepost 345 of Interstate 80 in Laramie County, Wyoming for a welfare check on the driver of a vehicle. Upon arrival, troopers observed a deceased female inside. The vehicle was determined to be owned by a subject who was missing from Firestone, Colorado.

The female has been identified as Roseanna Allen, 49, of Firestone, Colo.

Allen disappeared from her home residence sometime around midnight on August 2 and was not heard from for a week until the discovery by WHP. She was last known to drive a Pearl White Kia Optima Hybrid QYV 443 with Colorado’s standard issue green/white plates.

Allen reportedly had a stroke about six years ago and as a result it was thought she could be forgetful.

The case is currently being investigated by the Wyoming Highway Patrol with the assistance of the Laramie County Coroner’s Office and the Firestone Police Department. No further details will be released at this time due to an ongoing investigation.
