JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson announced on the evening of Thursday, June 13, that fares on START Bus commuter routes running to and from Jackson from Teton Valley, Idaho, and Star Valley, WY, have been underwritten by the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Board. The change is effective immediately.

The waived fees for commuters will be in effect through Friday, June 28. Community needs will be re-evaluated after that. Typically one-way fare on a commuter line is $8 per person.

START Bus service has been adjusted following the collapse of the Teton Pass. Further updates to its schedule are possible as START and the Wyoming Department of Transportation continue to monitor the new traffic patterns. See the START website for an updated schedule and details.
