JACKSON, Wyo. — After a three-month hiatus, the free community recycling bins have returned to the Albertsons parking lot.

Ongoing parking lot maintenance and construction work at Albertsons forced the removal of the recycling bins in mid-April. With the parking lot reopened, the Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling (ISWR) bins have been reintroduced. They can be found in the same southwest corner of the parking lot, and they even have their own designated area with a cement pad.

After the conclusion of the Teton County Fair, recycling bins have also been replaced at the Fairgrounds. Those receptacles were moved to the Jackson Hole High School for the duration of the fair, and were returned on Monday.

Visit the ISWR website to view all locations of the community recycling drop-off points. ISWR reminds the public that these bins are for residential and visitor use only — businesses are asked to use the bins available at the Recycling Center.
