JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson is inviting Teton County professionals with backgrounds in design, architecture, landscape architecture, planning, education or related fields to apply for the three open seats on the Design Review Committee (DRC).

According to the Town, applicants cannot hold any other public office or position in Town government. Past members have worked in planning, architecture, landscape architecture, real estate and other sectors, or have an interest in the community character of Jackson.

The DRC utilizes the Town’s design guidelines to review building permit and development plan applications, per the Town. DRC members get informed about and stay current with building design and land planning, and engage with Town staff, applicants and local officials.

The two-year volunteer terms are to begin on November 1. The deadline for the online application is Friday, Sept. 19. Applicants can contact Lynsey Lenamond at lynseylenamond@jacksonwy.gov with questions.
