As the new Special Events Officer, Maeve oversees the planning and implementation of Old Bill’s Fun Run, Community Foundation events and special projects. She coordinates the planning, execution and promotion of Old Bill’s and other events in support of the Foundation’s Advancement, Grants, Finance and Initiatives teams. Before joining the Community Foundation, Maeve held roles in communications for López Wagner Strategies and the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.

“Cassie and Maeve bring unique skill sets to their new positions at the Foundation. Their collective expertise will strengthen the overall team’s work toward achieving the goals that we set out in our 2022 strategic plan – initiatives addressing broad community issues, impact investing, resource development and continuing existing programs with excellence,” remarked Laurie Andrews, Community Foundation President.

The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole has a mission of improving lives through philanthropic leadership. This includes acting as a leader, catalyst and resource for the community. The Foundation makes grants, provides excellent donor services and ensures the sustainability of Jackson’s philanthropic community. The team does these things well because it listens to the community. The Foundation is committed to opening minds to possibility. This has led it to launching three community-wide initiatives that focus on the root causes of community challenges, including Behavioral Health, Housing Solutions and Education and Families. The team is smart and flexible but that is not as important as the desire to create a supportive environment where meaningful change is possible with nonprofit partners, and in turn, the community at large. The staff talks things through, and then they innovate and implement them. CFJH believes in connection, collaboration, compassion and curiosity.
