A heap of roofing waste and other trash found on Bureau of Land Reclamation (BLM) land outside Farson raised red flags for BLM officials.
BLM identified 31-year-old Idalia Reyes-Cruz of Denver, Colorado as the culprit. If convicted, she faces a $780 fine, according to the Associated Press. Reyes-Cruz was on her way home from a project in Jackson.
The BLM said an employee found the trash on May 13. Investigators found a water bottle with her name written on it and paperwork that they used to identify Reyes-Cruz.
According to the AP, online listings show a woman by the same name works at USA Roofing in Denver.
Update: Buckrail would like to thank the crew at Jonah Energy who cleaned this up. They spent several hours loading trucks and properly disposing of the material from the dump site.
