Collision at the Y ends in DUI

JACKSON, WY —A driver struck two separate vehicles at the Y last night before being picked up for a DUI and possession.

According to the Jackson Police Department, the driver rear-ended a pickup truck near the intersection of Broadway and Highway 22 and tried to flee the scene. Moments later, she collided with a minivan.

The driver showed “signs of heavy intoxication,” according to a police report, and failed field sobriety tests. The Preliminary Breath Test (PBT) showed a blood-alcohol content of .22%. Officers also found cocaine and marijuana in her possession.

The driver was arrested for a DUI, hit and run, and possession of marijuana and cocaine. She was treated for injuries on the scene, but there were no serious reported injuries.
