JACKSON, Wyo. — On Saturday, Nov. 15, survivors of suicide loss can come together at St. John’s Episcopal Church to share understanding and hope.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon and will provide a safe and supportive environment to celebrate the lives of those lost to suicide. Participants are encouraged to bring their memories and stories to share and celebrate with others. Refreshments and a remembrance gift will be provided.

“This free event is a safe and supportive environment for those in the community to connect around their shared experience,” the event’s flyer states.

According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, “connecting with others who have lost a loved one to suicide and hearing how they have navigated the pain of that loss is a fundamental step toward hope and healing.”
