JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Jackson Hole Children’s Museum will host its popular interactive truck extravaganza this Sunday. The 6th Annual Touch-a-Truck is scheduled for Sunday, June 3, from 10am to 3pm.
The fundraiser has become wildly popular with kids (including a few ‘big kids’) who enjoy an opportunity to get hands-on with trucks designed to dig, dump, push, pull, rake, mow, sweep, scoop, reach, and rescue. Vehicles of all sorts—construction, emergency, law enforcement, food service, recreation and more—will line North King Street for kids of all ages to explore in a safe, supervised environment.
The event offers a unique opportunity to touch levers, switches and gears that operate heavy machinery. Kids also get a chance to meet the vehicle operators who build, serve and protect our community every day.
“Touch-a-Truck is a pleasure and a thrill for the Children’s Museum to host,” said JHCM executive director Jean Lewis. “Each year the event gets bigger and better, thanks to our ever-growing fleet of vehicles, their dynamic operators, and our enthusiastic young patrons.”
And there’s so much more than trucks. Event-goers are invited to enjoy a Strider bike course hosted by Friends of Pathways, face painting, tasty food from Pinky G’s Pizzeria and Moe’s Original Bar B Que, bouncy houses, the Teton County Library Book Bike, and interactive museum exhibits. The Jackson Hole Children’s Museum at 174 North King Street will be open for exploration and play throughout the event.

Admission to Touch-a-Truck is free, with a suggested donation of $5/person or $20/family.
Touch-a-Truck is made possible by a long list of supporters, including title sponsor Jackson Hole Airport and supporting sponsors Bank of Jackson Hole, J Singleton Financial, Shelter Design, Skipping Stones, and Wilderness Adventures’ Base Camp.
