JACKSON, Wyo. — Local female and family-owned business, Iksplor, is asking for the community’s help as they launch a Kickstarter to support the creation of warm, sustainable, and Jackson-tested merino wool base layers for kids.
Founded by two local sisters, Iksplor was designed with the Jackson lifestyle in mind. Disappointed by the availability of warm, sustainable layers for their children during adventures, the sisters sought to create a solution of their own. Offering sizes from newborn to 6t, Iksplor’s baselayers are easier to care for, longer-lasting, better for kids, parents and the planet. Features of the merino layers include sun protection (UPF 50), moisture-wicking and antimicrobial qualities, and thermo-regulating properties, to name a few.
Iksplor’s Kickstarter allows backers to purchase sets which include baselayers, hats, neck warmers, and swaddles in one of 6 colors and a variety of sizes. Backers can feel good about supporting local and giving the gift of warmth and adventure to a little iksplorer this holiday season.
