JACKSON, Wyo. — The shrinking off-season is on pace to be a bit busier than last year, according to “on the books” data at 17 lodging properties, released by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber tracks pre-booked rooms 60 days in advance across 17 Jackson Hole lodging properties. As of Oct. 15, pre-bookings are outpacing last year’s levels during the same timeframe and are above the actual occupancy rate (the gray line in the graph) during October 2022.

Occupancy rates are expected to drop below 40 percent of capacity over the next month, with pre-booking dipping below 10 percent over Thanksgiving weekend.

Nov. 6 and Nov. 7 are showing a bump in pre-bookings and Veteran’s Day weekend is also showing another little bump, but as November unfolds, pre-bookings are on par with 2022. Early December shows another bump in pre-bookings as well.
