JACKSON, Wyo. — Gobble, Gobble Jackson Hole!
Start or continue a holiday tradition by participating in the annual Jackson Hole Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving morning.
Gather a crew, grab a costume or most festive holiday sweater, and join in the fun run starting at the Stilson parking lot at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28. The event is free but donations are accepted.
There’s no better way to start off Thanksgiving morning than with a bit of exercise under the Tetons. The course will follow the plowed bike paths towards Wilson and back. In addition to the crisp winter air and the camaraderie of all those toeing the line, there will be hot cider and donuts at the finish line.
While the event is not timed, there will be a race clock for those looking to self-time. The top three female and male finishers, as well as those decked in their best dressed, will win prizes. The first 200 people who show up will receive commemorative mugs.
People can signup up here.
