Center of Wonder announces “Arts For All” grant recipients

JACKSON, WY — Center of Wonder announced the 20 recipients of its 2019-20 Arts for All Grants today.

The Arts for All program, supported by tax dollars from the Town of Jackson and Teton County for more than two decades, has now distributed over $1 million to local artists and art organizations.

Twenty local artists and art organizations were rewarded Center of Wonder’s 2019-20 Arts For All Grants.

Non-profit organizations and individual artists are funded to support arts education producing and presenting opportunities, and public projects with a strong community benefit. This year, $55,000 is being awarded to artists and nonprofit organizations.

“We are thrilled our Town and County officials continue to invest in the arts in our community,” said JuliAnne Thomas, Director of Development and Communications. “Studies have shown that communities that support arts and culture not only enhance their quality of life, they also invest in their economic well-being. In Teton County, the arts generate $5.1 million in local and state government revenue according to a 2017 study by Americans for the Arts, 2017.”
