Are you still figuring out your Earth Day plans? Come to Faherty Brand at 50 South King Street from 5 pm – 8 pm on Friday, and celebrate with Faherty, Energy Conservation Works (ECW), Avant Delivery, Roadhouse Brewing, Orchestra Provisions & Inversion Cafe, Vertical Harvest, WyoFarm Composting, and Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities!
Come right at 5 pm and toast to Faherty, Jackson Hole’s, new 100% Green Power Commitment! After the toast, learn about how to make a difference this year from local sustainability-minded organizations and businesses. Switch your home onto 100% Green Power, take an electric vehicle for a spin, learn composting basics, see a microgreen demonstration, try some crickets, and learn about Avant’s reusable package system.
Did you know it’s unbelievably easy for Lower Valley Energy members to sign up their house for the program? And what’s more? All Green Power customers (current and new) will receive a 15% off in-store discount at Faherty Brand, and NEW Green Power in-person Green Power sign-ups will receive an ECW Liquid Hardware mug at the event.
ECW would like to extend out a huge thank you to Faherty’s Jackson team for advocating for the switch to 100% Green Power.
“Faherty Brand Jackson Hole is committed to sustainability and we are excited to join the community’s clean effort with renewable energy. We stand with organizations like ECW that help each other to succeed and grow.”
– Ally Giorno, Faherty Brand Store Manager.
As a business, Faherty has made a commitment to recognize the impact that the fashion industry has on our planet regarding waste and environmental destruction and make thoughtful and intentional decisions to change the status quo. Faherty Brand joins 122 commercial accounts in the Green Power movement.
“I applaud Faherty on their commitment to sustainability and their transition to 100% Green Power,” said ECW Program Coordinator, Megan Jennings. “I’m excited to celebrate Faherty Jackson Hole’s leadership this Friday! A big thanks to Ally Giorno and Marti Freyer who made this happen!”
Energy Conservation Works partnered with Lower Valley Energy in September of 2017, launching an effort to increase participation in the Green Power program. Since that time hundreds of Teton County residents and business owners have chosen to switch their power to Green sources.
Energy Conservation Works’ mission is to provide leadership, engagement, and implementation, specific to energy conservation, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and reductions in emissions.
