JACKSON, Wyo. – The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has issued black ice alerts for US89 between Jackson and Moran, WY22 between Jackson and the Idaho State Line, WY390 between Wilson and Teton Village and US26 between the Idaho State Line and Jackson.
The alerts were all issued at 8:52 a.m. Black ice is a thin coating of transparent ice that can blend in with the road and be difficult to see. Black ice creates highly slippery and hazardous driving conditions.
