TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Two chances to enjoy fresh musical programming with the Grand Teton Music Festival this weekend!
The Festival Orchestra will play the highly influential “New World” Symphony by Dvorak twice this weekend under Guest Conductor David Danzmayr, making his GTMF debut.
The program also includes a co-commissioned work for Third Coast Percussion by Clarice Assad called “Play!” that is about “finding awe in the little things,” plus “Darker America” by William Grant Still.
The curtain rises at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 12, and at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 13. Before each performance, enjoy a pre-concert talk an hour before the show with GTMF’s Stoner Family Education Curator Meaghan Heinrich in the Barbara Furrer Goodman Memorial Garden near Walk Festival Hall’s north entrance.
Tickets $40-$85; children & students $5. Rush tickets are available the day of performances for $25.
