JACKSON, Wyo. — Wyoming Wilderness Association (WWA) announced their decision to cancel the Backcountry Film Festival scheduled for Friday, March 20 at the Jackson Hole Playhouse.
WWA community organizer, Peggie dePasquale shared, “In an effort to help minimize the spread of Covid-19 and join in our community’s admirable response to this global outbreak, Wyoming Wilderness Association has made the obvious decision to cancel this year’s Jackson Hole Backcountry Film Festival 2020.”
Additionally, WWA has decided to cancel its Cody showing of the festival planned for this Thursday, March 19. The organization is currently monitoring the situation closely and will communicate plans concerning their other events around the state in a timely manner.
