JACKSON, Wyo. — Bridger-Teton National Forest (BTNF) has announced that Bekee Hotze will take over the role of Deputy Forest Supervisor.

Hotze, who has worked in conservation roles for three decades, will start her new position, which is currently vacant, July 14.

Hotze holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Northland College and a master’s in forestry from Michigan Tech. She comes to BTNF from the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah, where she has been District Ranger for the past eight and a half years.

“Bekee looks forward to new challenges and opportunities that will allow her to continue her journey of responsible land stewardship,” BTNF said in a statement.
