JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — It’s been tough going for the high school volleyball team in October. The Lady Broncs are 0-for-the-month, dropping contests with Star Valley, Evanston, Rock Springs, Kelly Walsh, Star Valley (again), and Green River.
There have been bright spots though. The young team is gaining good experience and should be stronger next year. Sophomore Bella Santamauro has been outstanding, along with junior Faye Kudar and sophomore Ashlyn Funk.
The girls are 7-14 overall, 0-5 in conference. Their last home game is this Friday at 6 p.m. against Pinedale. They’ll go to Evanston Saturday and finally Cody for regionals November 1 and 2.
Winter sports begin in November.
