Looking to give back this holiday season? Or better yet, are you looking to expand the family? Adopting a pet in need is your solution to both! The Animal Adoption Center will be joining forces with local and regional pet organizations for a Home For The Holidays Adoption Drive in hopes to get some homeless pets in their forever home! Teton Motors Subaru (405 Powderhorn Lane) will be hosting this fur-filled event on Saturday, December 8th from 10:00 AM till 2:00 PM. There will be animals of all shapes, sizes, ages and breeds from the Animal Adoption Center, Teton Valley Community Animal Shelter, Jackson Animal Shelter, Aska’s Animals and Lucky’s Place of Star Valley. All these animals will be up for adoption and seeking out their future family! Other pet organizations including PAWS of Jackson Hole, Lens & Leash, Star Dog Training and Dog Is My Copilot will also be joining with information on their programs and how to get involved.
Not in the market to adopt?! There will be plenty of Holiday themed activities to keep you busy while you socialize with the adoptable furry friends. Donations like dog toys, food and other pet related items will also be accepted for these animals in need.
Can’t make the adoption drive? Or you can but you still want more? Join the Animal Adoption Center for a Holiday themed Yappy Hour on Friday December 14th from 4-6PM. Socialize with adoptable animals, spread some holiday cheer, and enjoy some Christmas cookies and cocktails. Santa is even making a guest appearance and so can you!
