JACKSON, Wyo. — In partnership with Bridger-Teton National Forest (BTNF), Friends of Pathways (FOP) has assisted in the creation of a connector trail in the Teton Pass area.

In a Monday Facebook post, FOP announced the new path, called the Scenic Route. It is a 0.8-mile trail that connects the Ski Lake Trail to the Phillips Pass Trail. According to FOP, the trail now creates a “lollipop loop” that is 4.55 miles. The normal out-and-back trail to Ski Lake is 3.73 miles.

“It winds through wildflower meadows with views of the valley,” wrote FOP.

The social media post said the trail was expected to be completed by the end of the day on Monday.
