JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Entering its 35th day, the longest government shutdown in history appears to be over. For now.
President Donald Trump today announced that a deal has been reached to “end the shutdown and reopen the federal government.”
The temporary measure will allow for three weeks through February 15, for lawmakers to agree on a permanent solution to the budget. The deal did not include funding for the President’s border wall.
Federal employees in Teton County are expected to report for work Monday, January 28.
