TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — A male skier died at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) after colliding with a tree on Gros Ventre run this morning, Feb.3, according to JHMR.

“Resuscitation efforts were administered on the mountain by JHMR Ski Patrol and continued at the St. John’s Clinic at Teton Village,” said JHMR in a press release issued just after 12:30 p.m. today.

The name of the visiting skier has not been released due to family notification efforts.

JHMR President Mary Kate Buckley said, “My deepest condolences go out to the family of the deceased. My heart goes out to everyone involved.”
