JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Cattleman’s Bridge on Spring Gulch Road is closed to all traffic including pedestrians and livestock until further notice.
High water of the Gros Ventre River is taking its toll on the temporary structure. The bridge appears to be sagging into the water.
Teton County Road & Levee is advising that Cattleman’s Bridge on Spring Gulch Road should remain closed until further notice due to safety concerns. This closure applies to vehicles, pedestrians, bicycles, livestock, and public safety apparatus. Further assessments of the bridge for safety will be conducted this week, but until the inspections are completed and the bridge is deemed safe, it will remain closed to all traffic.
There is no estimated time for reopening of Cattleman’s Bridge at this time.
