JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Teton County Board of Commissioners will host their first Brown Bag Lunch in partnership with the Teton County Library on Thursday, May 3, from 12:00-1:00pm.
The Brown Bag Lunch series will consist of short, informational presentations from county staff followed by informal discussion and Q&A with staff and commissioners. The presentations will be focused on projects and topics of interest. This month, the topic is the Engage 2017 Planning Process. An update on the final phase of the project and a brief overview of recommended policy updates will be provided.
Teton County Board of Commissioners chair Mark Newcomb will be attending and available for conversation and questions.
“The Brown Bag Lunch series is a component of ongoing efforts to enhance engagement with the community,” said Billy Kirk, Teton County public information specialist. “It is a priority of the board of commissioners to continually work to improve and innovate when it comes to providing information and input opportunities for Teton County residents.”
The event is free. Attendees are invited to bring a lunch or snack and participate in the discussion.
“We’re grateful for the library’s partnership on this event, and hope that people will take advantage of this opportunity to interact directly with their elected officials in a non-meeting environment,” Kirk said.
