JACKSON, Wyo. — Wyoming resident hunting application deadlines for sheep, moose, goat and bison has been moved back from last year’s deadline of March 31 to Tuesday, April 30.

Starting Monday, April 1, Game and Fish will accept applications for limited quota fall turkey, sandhill crane and beaver. All applications must be submitted online.

“Remember, before applying for any licenses, you will have to have a username and password,” Game and Fish License Accounting Coordinator Amanda Roberts reminds hunters online. “Each person needs their own account to apply, including youth.”

Remaining tags for resident elk as well as other big game species are drawn in April and May. May 31 is the deadline for resident elk and resident and non-resident deer and antelope. Nonresident general elk applicants will now have to apply for the specific nonresident region general elk license.

The Game and Fish Wyoming Hunt Planner provides interactive maps, species specific hunt information, drawing odds, harvest information, public access and more.

Online applications must be completed and submitted by midnight mountain time on the deadline date. Detailed information on seasons, maps and regulations are available on the Game and Fish website. To apply for limited quota drawings or preference points, visit the Game and Fish Apply or Buy page. For questions call 307-777-4600 between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday.
