JACKSON, Wyo. — The bike path near the Gregory Lane construction has been closed once again, starting on Monday, Sept. 29.

The pathway will be closed from the tunnel under US89, just south of Jackson Hole Adventure Rentals, to the middle school ball fields. There is no anticipated opening date. A press release from the Town of Jackson (TOJ) Engineering Division says that pathway users should follow the detour signs, which will direct traffic along US89 and High School Road.

TOJ and Evans Construction are working to install stormwater infrastructure and prepare the ground surface for the roadway, curbs and sidewalks near the intersection of the pathway and Gregory Lane. The bike path will remain closed while the utilities and road surface features are installed.

Detour signage will be placed at both ends of the closure as well as other common access locations, according to TOJ. Cyclists and pedestrians are asked to respect and avoid private property and stick to marked detour routes.

“Please obey the closure and detour signage and plan a little extra time on your bike/walk commute around this area,” the statement reads.
