JACKSON, Wyo. — Summer will be in full swing on Saturday, June 7, at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) when the bike park, Teewinot Lift and Sweetwater and Bridger Gondolas open for the season.
Jackson Hole is a premier mountain biking destination, and options abound at JHMR’s bike park. The downhill park has trails for every level, including novice trails, advanced trails and jump tracks. Cruise around corners, hit a couple jumps then catch the Teewinot Chairlift or Sweetwater Gondola for a quick ride back to the top.
The bike park will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through September 7. Purchase tickets online for the best rates, and either bring your own bike or include a full rental package from JH Sports. Teton Village Sports is open and fully stocked with e-bikes, helmets, the latest apparel, and everything needed to explore Jackson Hole pathways.
Access during opening week will vary, as Sweetwater Gondola will be open for limited terrain on Saturday and Sunday, June 7 and 8, then closed from Monday to Thursday, June 9 to 12. Teewinot will remain open during opening week, and both lifts will be spinning daily for the summer beginning Friday, June 13.
The Bridger Gondola will also open for the season for sightseeing and dining. It will start running on Saturday, June 7, and run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily until September. Additionally, Corbet’s Cabin, Tin Can, Off Piste and Tram Dock will all be open.
