If you are between the ages 18-30, chances are you didn\u2019t vote in the last election. A concerned Teton Valley resident is hoping to change that by hosting a FREE Canyon Kids show at the Knotty Pine on Friday, Nov. 2. Rock Then Vote was inspired by the recent Pearl Jam concert in Missoula that was essentially a huge campaign rally for Get Out The Vote. The antithesis of the campaign rallies currently shown on TV, this was full of positive, hopeful messages that encouraged people to use their voting power to create the change they want to see in their elected representatives. Rock Then Vote will be a night of great local music sprinkled with reminders that every vote matters and we need yours on Tuesday. A very special guest, Robbie Bond, the 10-year-old founder of the environmental non-profit Kids Speak for Parks and new Patagonia Ambassador, will be on hand to inspire young people with his enthusiasm and optimism for a better future. In recent weeks Robbie has spoken at events with Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, and many other national figures, so we are very excited to have him at our event! Rock then Vote also will be giving away 200 FREE Kleen Kanteen stainless steel cups festooned with a reminder to Vote to Save Our Democracy for your beer drinking pleasure (thanks, Patagonia!). No plastic cups here! All we ask in return for this night of fun and festivities is for you to go to the polls on Tuesday. Seems like a win\/win for all! See you at the Knotty Pine Friday, November 2 from 8:30-11:30 p.m.
