JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Construction work will take place in Aspen Hill Cemetery beginning this week and running through mid-July. Work will be done weekdays from 7am to 7pm with a short day Friday, quitting at 1pm.
The Town of Jackson and Westwood Curtis Construction started the Aspen Hill Cemetery 2019 Stormwater Improvements Project on Tuesday, May 28, with construction completion expected by July 17, 2019. The project includes installation of stormwater pipes, manholes, stormwater infiltrator system, curb and gutter, new concrete stairs, asphalt paving, and miscellaneous associated work.
Access Restriction Information
Visitors will be able to access to the Aspen Hill Cemetery during the majority of construction, but will see construction vehicles, equipment and materials. Access to some grave sites will be difficult due to the replacement of two sets of concrete stairs.
Cemetery road closures will be required for 1-day durations during installation of stormwater lines across the access road and during paving activities. An updated construction notice will be provided ahead of these closures.
