JACKSON HOLE, WYO –The Jackson Police Department announced this afternoon they have made an arrest in connection with the bomb threat called into the Jackson Hole Middle School on March 13. An investigation led authorities to find probably cause to arrest a juvenile student for Terroristic Threats, a violation of Wyoming State Statute.
The juvenile is being held pending an appearance in juvenile court. As a minor, no specific information will be released related to the case.
On March 13, 2018, the Jackson Police Department received a report of a bomb threat to the Jackson Hole Middle School, causing a two-hour delay to the start of the school day. A search of the school was carried out and the threat was resolved by members of the Jackson Police Department, Teton County Sheriff’s Office, and bomb detection K-9 and handler from the Lander Police Department in cooperation with the Teton County School District.
Since that time, detectives from the Jackson Police Department have been investigating the person(s) suspected for making this threat.
