JACKSON, Wyo. — The annual antler auction on the Town Square will be held Saturday after two years of online-only auctioning.
The auction was moved to an online platform and was held in September 2020 and 2021 due to concerns about COVID-19 transmissions.

Elkfest private antler sales will be on Town Square from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m on Saturday, May 21. The Boy Scouts Elk Antler Auction will begin at 10 a.m.
The scouts retain 25% of the sale’s proceeds, which is used to supplement fees for day camps, leader and Scout training and other activities. The remaining 75% is returned to the National Elk Refuge for habitat enhancement projects, including paying for farming equipment, weed management, and seasonal employees that operate the Refuge’s irrigation program.
The auction is part of the annual Old West Days, held May 20 through May 30 this year. 2022 is the 38th year of Old West Days in Jackson.
