JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club is excited to announce registration for the 2025 ‘Marg Cup’ is open!
Hosted by Snow King Mountain Resort, the “Marg Cup” is a fun and social, locals’ race league with a competitive spirit. Skiers and snowboarders of all abilities are welcome to race for the Cup. The scoring is designed to give even novice racers the ability to earn a high score and help their team win. Racers enjoy:
- Professional racecourses
- Huge weekly raffles
- Live announcer
- Awesome Championship prize packages
- And just the right amount of friendly trash-talking!
Teams (four to six people) can register as self-sponsored or as business-sponsored. Racers can run the course between 4 to 6 p.m. each race day.
All business-sponsored teams will compete for series championship title and prizes as well as the business championship title. We call it the “league within the league.” This is a great way for local businesses to compete against one another and promote their business while supporting the athletes of the JHSC: 100% of the entry fees support the Club.
2025 race dates and style are as follows:
- Feb. 6 – Dual GS: 4 to 6 p.m.
- Feb. 13 – Dual GS: 4 to 6 p.m.
- Feb. 20 – Super G: 3:30 to 6 p.m.
- Feb. 27 – Dual GS: 4 to 6 p.m.
Want to race but don’t have a team?
Didn’t have time to get a Marg Cup Team together? No problem, there is a way you can still participate! Grab your long boards, fast skis, speed suit and helmet! Come on out and have some fun, and costumes encouraged.
You may not be on a team, but your results will still show your best speed making you a hot commodity for one of next season’s Marg Cup Teams!
