JACKSON, Wyo. — The numbers are official, the USGS gauges have spoken, and the Snake River Canyon peak flow locked in at 13,922 CFS on May 31!
This year’s High Water Heyday guesses were all over the map, ranging from an absolute biblical deluge of 600,000 CFS down to a terrifyingly low 36 CFS (let’s pray we never see that day!). But one local nailed it almost to the exact drop.
Huge congratulations to Tyler Wight, a local river guide and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Ski Patroller, who took home the brand-new NRS Star Outlaw raft with an insanely close guess of 13,890 CFS!

Kahuna size holler to everyone who entered. With the early bump of temperatures in May that eventually leveled off and then the big bump in water out of Jackson Lake, it certainly was a runoff that had its twist and eddy turns!
