JACKSON, WY — After a long spring and an equally long wait (sorry, readers, it took a while to get the raft to the winner but we found him!), Buckrail is excited to announce the winner of Dave Hansen’s High Water Hayday Contest:
Gregory Hill won himself a new 14′ raft by getting the closest guess on this year’s high water mark. The final high water point on the Snake River this year was 17,894 CFS (Cubic Feet/Second). Hill guessed 17,888.
Janelle Holden won a whitewater rafting trip with Dave Hansen Whitewater for herself and up to six friends by sharing the contest on social media.
Congrats to Gregory Hill and Janelle Holden, and have fun on the river!
An earlier version of this story said Hill’s guess was 17,999. It was a typo! The winner’s guess did not go over the high water mark. Apologies for any confusion.
