ALPINE, Wyo. — Come out and enjoy some frosty fun at Alpine’s Winter Jubilee!

Alpine’s Winter Jubilee debuted in 2013. This event was created in large part to facilitate community members coming together to enjoy some fun activities to distract from long winters. This is also an opportunity to provide scholarships to local youths. Sponsors help fund this event and all proceeds from Casino Night go toward scholarships.

This year sees the addition of a fire dancer performance at the Alpine Civic Center on Friday night.

For the second year in a row, a movie night will be part of the fun. This year, the movie, “The Wild Robot,” will be sponsored by the Alpine Christian fellowship. All attendees are encouraged to bring a comfortable chair or blanket to settle in and enjoy the film.

For those who haven’t yet experienced Casino Night, this is the year to participate. Food and drinks are available for purchase, and at the end of gaming, cash in casino chips for faffle prize tickets. A Casino bag ($40 each) includes one $25 chip and 25 $1 chips, one grand prize raffle ticket and 25 general raffle tickets. Compete for amazing raffle prizes donated by local businesses, along with three grand prizes and silent auction items.

Seven businesses are signed up to participate in the Snow Box this year. Snow sculptures will be located in Marge Grover park at 121 US Hwy 89, Alpine, WY. Star Valley Arts Council is working to revamp the event.
