JACKSON, Wyo. — A little May snow set the perfect cozy tone for the 24th Annual High Noon Chili Cook-Off during Old West Days!

Event sponsor Austin O’Bryhim took home First Place in the Judges’ Choice amateurs’ round with his award-winning white bean chicken chili, getting its second First Place finish in just three years.

“The weather was perfect chili eating weather,” O’Bryhim said. “It was a great way to kick off Old West Days.”

Even with a chill in the air, it was still the hottest event in the valley with the aroma of spices filling the air downtown. The annual event brought the community together to celebrate great food, local talent and the start of one of Jackson Hole’s favorite traditions.

O’Bryhim was also a sponsor for the Brewfest, one of the signature events of the annual 10-day Old West Days celebration.
