Growing Interest, Expanded Topics

A record number of businesses certifying as Trout Friendly highlights the continued interest in the Trout Friendly Lawns Program. The April training event drew 50 attendees, including representatives from government, businesses and Clean Water Coalition partner organizations. The event was packed with valuable insights, thanks to presentations from David Lee and Morgan Graham of Teton Conservation District, Lesley Beckworth from Teton County Weed and Pest and our keynote speaker, Dr. Anthony Koski of Colorado State University. Dan and JP Huser from Mountain Town Maintenance discussed maintaining ponds and lakes, while Cody Pitz from the Wyoming Wetland Society shared tips and resources on managing beavers in landscapes.
