Local brewery claims best-in-state bragging rights T-shirt Car Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Remember the VISA ad campaign that ran from 1985 to 2006 — “It’s everywhere you want to be.” We think it’s being used by Snake River Brewing now. At least it should be.

So far this Spring/Summer season SRB has been everywhere, all the time.

Limited edition Eclipse Ale commemorates a once-in-a-lifetime event this August.

Wyoming’s oldest brewery was there all winter long pouring at the People’s Market, and showing up every other Wednesday now that the market has moved outdoors to the base of Snow King for the summer. Snake River Brewing is also a primary sponsor of JacksonHoleLive where they keep concertgoers hydrated. SRB even supports Thin Air Shakespeare where they help Off Square Theatre with fundraising.

Buckrail has noticed (and swallowed) SRB’s new Eclipse Ale—available in collector cans now until the big blackout event. The new front yard onsite has quickly become THE place for sun and suds in East Jackson. Enjoy it wearing one of the brew crew’s new tees.

All that getting around (and maybe a whole bunch of brewing skills) got Snake River Brewing noticed by SeriousEats.com. The foodie website dropped its “50 States, 50 Beers We Love” report last week and guess what brewery caught their eye for Wyoming?

SeriousEats tapped SRB’s Zonker Stout as its Wyo rave. “This foreign-style stout reminds us of unsweetened cocoa and earthy sesame seed, with a good amount of coffee flavor rolled in. The finish is all roast. This is a beer to pair with barbecue brisket and ribs, though it would also be great with peppery salami and aged cheeses,” SE wrote.

Kickin’ it outside at the new East Jackson hotspot: SRB’s front lawn.
