MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS, Wyo. — Winter weather and hazardous driving conditions are expected in Yellowstone National Park in the coming days which could cause temporary road closures and delayed openings, the park announced this morning.

The East Entrance Road to Fishing Bridge is temporarily closed due to winter weather.

The South Entrance to West Thumb, Lake Village to West Thumb, West Thumb to Old Faithful and Tower Junction to Tower Fall roads are scheduled to open to vehicle traffic tomorrow, May 13.

According to the park, crews are making every effort to ensure the roads open; motorists should expect delays on Craig Pass from West Thumb to Old Faithful because the road is at high elevation lending to the potential of dangerous winter weather conditons.

The Beartooth Highway is scheduled to open at 8 a.m. on May 27 and Tower Fall to Canyon Junction is set to open that same day at 12 p.m.
