YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. — Yellowstone National Park has upped its fire danger level to “moderate.” The change is effective immediately. Previously, the level was “low.”

Currently, there are no active wildland fires in the park and no fire restrictions in place.

Campfires are allowed only in designated fire rings in developed campgrounds and most backcountry campsites.
