KELLY, Wyo. — Like humans, bison will typically avoid trudging through the snow if a clear path is an available alternative.

“Bison are on the roadways because of high snow levels,” Grand Teton National Park warned park visitors on Facebook last week. “They are drawn to the easiest path of travel.”
