JACKSON, Wyo. — According to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, June 3 is Free Fishing Day where all anglers can fish in Wyoming without a fishing license, except within the Wind River Reservation and Yellowstone National Park.
Free Fishing Day will mark the first Saturday of National Boating and Fishing Week.
All fishing regulations, creel and size limits, gear restrictions and stream closures remain in effect.
In Jackson Hole, a Kids Fishing Day event will begin at 10:30 a.m. on June 3, at Rendezvous “R” Park between Jackson and Wilson. There will be free fishing equipment available.
