WYOMING – The Cowboy State is the focus of a special section in the April issue of Hemispheres, the inflight magazine of United Airlines.

Buckrail received several tips to the news from travelers returning to the valley from spring break. We got official news from the Wyoming Business Council (WBC) explaining more details.

The magazine’s multipage supplement called Dossier will be in every seat pocket of every United domestic and international flight for the month of April. Dossier is a monthly economic development series highlighting U.S. states, regions and cities. It’s Wyoming’s first mention in the supplement.

“This is an exciting and important global awareness opportunity for Wyoming,” said Shawn Reese, chief executive officer for the WBC. “The magazine conveys Wyoming’s business advantages, core industries and economic diversification efforts. If a business or entrepreneur is looking to relocate, expand or invest, this puts Wyoming front of mind.”

Carsten Morgan, vice president for special projects for Hemispheres, said the magazine chose to profile Wyoming because, “First and foremost, Wyoming has a good story to tell.”

The print edition of Hemispheres/Dossier generates a reported 3.1 million unique readers each month.
