WYOMING – Wyoming Business Council is reporting a fine time was had by visiting dignitaries from Taiwan this week.

Mayor Orr signed a declaration as part of an effort to strengthen ties between Taichung, Taiwan and Cheyenne.

Taiwan sent 10 trade delegates to Wyoming this week to discuss expanding trade and ideas between the two entities. The visiting delegates discussed blockchain, beef and agriculture, clean coal technology and more with Business Council CEO Shawn Reese.

They then met with Cheyenne Mayor Marian Orr to strengthen the sister city relationship between Cheyenne and Taichung with a declaration signing.

Finally, the group toured the University of Wyoming to learn more about the engineering and technology work taking place on campus.
