JACKSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced that repair work on damaged guardrails along Teton Pass (WY22) and Snake River Canyon (US89) will begin on Monday, June 2.
Work is scheduled between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. during the week. WYDOT noted that its crews will “make an effort to avoid work during commuting hours.” The projects will be executed simultaneously, with Snake River Canyon work expected to last roughly two days and Teton Pass work expected to wrap up by Friday, June 6.
Traffic on these highways will be reduced to a single lane during work hours, with flaggers directing traffic. WYDOT advises drivers to expect delays and to plan their travels accordingly.
