WILSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has reopened the Teton Pass in both directions as of 11:50 a.m., the agency announced.
“Open to all traffic in both directions,” WYDOT said in an alert. “Other travel expect reduced visibility, no trailer traffic, no unnecessary travel, chain law level 1. Buckle up.”
WY22 between Wilson and the Idaho State Line had been closed for avalanche mitigation since 3 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 12.
A subsequent alert said, “No parking on Teton Pass near Jackson from milepost 7 to 17.”
