Update 4:45 p.m.: The Wyoming Department of Transportation has scheduled a closure of Teton Pass for tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, at 3 a.m. for avalanche control. An earlier closure may occur depending on conditions. No parking between the avalanche gates at Wilson and the Idaho State line will begin at 8 p.m., this evening, Feb. 6. 

JACKSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation is alerting the public to expect reduced visibility between Jackson and the Idaho state line. Chain law level 1 is in effect.

No unnecessary travel is recommended beginning at 11:11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 6.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Teton County, beginning this morning at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph, reducing visibility.

the total snow accumulations are expected to be between 3 to 5 inches at low elevations in the valley.
